About the Journal

The DMMMSU Research and Extension Journal (ISSN: 0119-2035) is a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal in English that publishes reports of original, novel, and significant research results. The DMMMSU Research and Extension Journal accepts papers such as full-length research articles, short communications or research notes, and review articles of various disciplines. It is published annually (1 Issue per year) by the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Bacnotan, La Union, Philippines.

The DMMMSU Research and Extension Journal is indexed in Asian Science Citation Index. The journal publishes scientific and innovative researches in agriculture and fisheries, environmental and biological sciences, veterinary and health sciences, engineering and technology, physical and social sciences, education, business and entrepreneurship, computer science, robotics, machinery, and artificial intelligence.  

All submitted manuscripts should adhere to the ethical and scientific publishing standards, ethics policies of the journal, and should follow the guidelines for contribution before submitting manuscripts for publication. The submitted manuscripts will undergo a pre-review process by the editorial team, and only those manuscripts that pass this stage will undergo a double-blind peer review process.  

The DMMMSU Research and Extension Journal is an open-access journal and has no Article Publication Charge (APC).
